University of Dhaka MDS Admission 2024 – Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka, 23rd MDS Admission Announcement 2024 (January Session)
The 21st MDS Admission Announcement 2024-25

- We facilitate your growth through academic excellence
- This is an 18 month accelerated professional program having the following features:
- four semesters study;
- 68 credit hours program consisting of 17 courses;
- a thesis /research work on development experience;
- English as the medium of instruction; and
- classes from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm during weekdays and any suitable weekend hours.
Important Dates
- Application Deadline: 16th November 2023
- Admission Test: 17th November 2023
- Class Commences on 15th January 2024
Eligibility Criteria
- Admission is open to individuals who have at least a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors (3/4 Years) from any recognized University or a four-year BE/ MBBS/ BDS Degree from recognized Engineering Universities/ Colleges/ Medical Colleges.
- Candidates already having one Master’s Degree are also eligible to apply. Candidates with Third Division/Class or CGPA below 3.00 at any level of their academic career are not eligible to apply.
Selection Process
- The Admission test will evaluate the candidate’s quantitative aptitude, language skill, and analytical ability
How to Apply?
- Admission materials should be collected from and submitted to the Office of the Department of Development Studies from 16th November 2023
- Written test for admission will be held on 17th November 2023 at 10:00 am
- The admission test will evaluate the candidate’s quantitative aptitude, language skill, and analytical ability

- A total of 45 students will be enrolled in the program
